Street Photography Guide – My philosophy, approach and method

WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE SHORTLY!

Like so many I am passionate about photography.  It is creative, challenging and an escape, but like most people my time must be shared.  A day job, family life and running a household all are rewarding in their own way, but photography is a sanity retainer.

This pdf guide is an on going collection of my personal perspectives, approaches and methods covering photography in general, but with a very strong slant on street photography.

By practicing the boring technical aspects so that they are automatic, thinking about what triggers us to take the camera to the eye and engaging photography as a medium for story telling like a journalist, every one of us can create our own style;

I am a firm believer that personal style can only be achieved from within but at the same time I appreciate that we all learn differently. Some prefer to work alone and others need to work in a group; some prefer a book, others a video and others a workshop.

I, like you, have a personal history of experience which shapes my approach, my thinking and my style. – Take from this guide what you think is interesting, can help and above all you would enjoy.

Alex.,
