VIDEO: Travel #21 – Englischer Garten, Munich

Munich has quite a lot of green areas, but the main park area running either side of the river Isar is the Englischer Garten. This park area has a lake, streams, woods and open grass fields.

The central area has a restaurant, beer garden and the Chinese tower, which is a pagoda that is used by bands.

If you are visiting Munich, the Englischer Garten is worth the time for nature, birds but also people in summer and views back on the city over the tree line.

At the southern end there is the Eisbach, the fast contained river that is used by surfers. Pictures can be seen in the following video about the Nikkor-Q 135mm Lens.
