VIDEO: Travel #11 – Palaeontology Museum, Munich

Went on a trip to Munich yesterday, Tuesday 14th March and while this may not be everybody’s „cup of tea“; it is mine so I thought I would share it with you…

Virtually unknown to visitors of Munich is a palaeontology museum near Königsplatz. Whilst many of the exhibits were destroyed in the war, it still contains enough of interest for those engaged in the subject. Including its very own ** Archaeopteryx **

Importantly there is little to get in the way of photography and entry is free. (They willingly take donations though!)

It actually appears to be the Ludwig Maximilian University collection that just happens to be open to us, the public, and I will certainly go again.
